UNA OBRA ABSTRACTA nos obliga a prepararnos para su lectura, nos lleva a leer con detenimiento su contenido y a derivar el origen de su referente.

Para modestamente encontrar en ella un mensaje o disfrutar el mejor sentido de la estética, cada trazo debe ser parte de la obra y la mancha en el manejo del color contribuye a crear un ambiente donde se desarrolla la minúscula vida de los seres.

Al igual una obra que rompe el paradigma de la línea del horizonte, nos pone a pensar, desde que ángulo fue concebida por el artista, y en la obra de Lorena claramente estamos fuera del paisaje o ubicados encima de él, como sujetos externos vistos desde el aire o con paisajes trabajados con elementos planos, sin intención de manejar la luz, sin la preocupación de la perspectiva, dejando claro que el paisaje no es mas que un espacio o el conjunto armónico de relaciones espaciales.

La imprimación del lienzo habla mucho de la vida interior del artista, del respeto que le merece la ejucion técnica y de sus fondos podemos derivar el ejercicio de quien se realiza solo con su obra.
Para Fernández, el trazo de un rodillo de pintura, el oxido de la ventana, el espacio de la urbe visto desde la ventana o de afuera para adentro, el laberinto del cuarto, el perfil agresivo de las grandes construcciones, son el motivo de su trabajo. Allí se recrean y se enaltecen los símbolos del paisaje del siglo XXI, para dejar claro que la modernidad no es un cuento teórico, sino el diario devenir de la vida del artista.

                             PERFIL PROFESIONAL

 


 


Diseñadora Publicitaria, con trayectoria en las Artes Plásticas, con 20 años en el campo artístico, se ha destacado en exposiciones individuales, colectivas y subastas.


 


Nacida en Barranquilla, Colombia, el 19 de marzo de 1964. Los críticos más exigentes han encontrado en la obra de Lorena Fernández,  un pincel muy seguro que define la forma y el color. Lorena ha exhibido en algunas de las galerías de arte, museos y subastas más importantes y prestigiosas del país, desde 1988.


 


En su trayectoria artística, descubre un mundo de sensaciones que transmite a través del color, la forma y geometría que seguramente no contemplamos en medio del caos cotidiano, con su humo, trancones y tensión citadina. De ahí que la muestra de su obra desde un inicio,  se constituye en un deleite visual que demuestra que la belleza siempre puede estar a la vuelta de la esquina. En los cuadros figurativos, el color define la personalidad del individuo y los objetos. En su obra actual, atrae un poderoso factor de seducción  por desarrollar estímulos visuales que recrean una atmósfera equilibrada. El color determina la esencia humana. En la percepción del color tiene gran importancia la reacción emotiva. Con su fuerza simbólica describimos sensaciones, sentimientos, sonidos y sabores que dan carácter a nuestra personalidad.


La fogosidad del rojo  apasiona, la luz del amarillo, da vida, el verde nos apacienta, el azul nos conecta con la inmensidad de los espacios y el violeta  da una mística espiritual.

Bear in mind we are dealing with works of art, so they may be in an exhibition (actually, this is awesome!). Those artworks which are in an exhibition are usually displayed as “non-available”. In case the artwork has been put up for sale, take into account the artist would have to manage with the organization of the exhibition the return of the artwork in order to be able to realize the shipment.
